serialwriter
SerialWriter is a basic utility for writing data to a serial port. Data can come from either a text box in the main window (using UNIX-style LF line endings) or a file. Responses from the device are appended to a response text box. It has only been tested on Windows but it should work fine under Linux too.

For all available releases, see http://ftp2.zx.net.nz/pub/DGS/util/serialwriter/. The current version is 1.0 which was released on the 10th of June 2012. Win32 Binaries as well as source code are available.
